Blue-faced Leicester cross Texel sheep's fleece. Otherwise known as a Lleyn.
These sheep have the fleece from both these breeds making it have a great staple length and crimp. Making it a perfect useable wool for all different crafts.
These sheep fleeces are from our farm and all money goes back into caring for the sheep. Mainly just covering the costs of the yearly hair cut.
All fleeces have been skirted but are still in their natural raw state.
Some fleeces will have coloured spray on them but this does wash out- we have tried multiple brands and different coloured spray to find the ones that will wash out the easiest. Unfortunately because we are a working farm we do need to spray the sheep occasionally.
Washing can be done at additional costs.
For Lleyn fleeces - they may vary from the photo. All the Llyen fleeces are similar in size and shape and they all weigh between 1.2kg and 1.8kg.

Great small quantity of raw fleece for me to learn how to process for spinning. Love the sheepy smell. Fibre is great and the bit I have tested is lovely and soft. Thank you :-)
A beautiful fleece—very, very little in the way of vegetable matter/muck and next to no second cuts, so I’ll be able to use just about all of it. The fibre itself is lovely—soft, and airy. Can’t wait to spin it.
