Do you have a sheep's fleece or alpaca blanket from one of your favourite animals ? enjoy knitting or crochet , but want to use your own wool ?
We can take this fibre and turn it into beautiful yarn that you can use or sell on.

No Minimum weight required.
All work is carried out by hand, no bleaches or chemicals are used.

1kg of fleece can take around 12 weeks to complete depending on the service wanted.

FAQ's

How much yarn will I recieve?

You send 1kg of raw sheeps wool , we then wash and dry the wool. During the washing process we remove lanolin, dirt and debris. The amount varies from fleece to fleece and is not an exact thing we can measure. We can assure you that we will use every piece of wool we can to make the yarn. If the fleece is very dirty or greasy you may only recieve 600g of yarn, but will use all of the wool. The weight is lost in the removal of dirt.

For metre/yardage we again can not estimate this for a variety of reasons. The thickness of the wool, the thickness of the yarn, each skein can be slighty different due to the hand made nature of hand spinning. We can of course (by request) count the yardage for you once the yarn has been made.
