We make a range of handmade items including scarves, hats, gloves, cushions, blankets, shawls, jumpers and more. If you have an idea in mind, we would love to hear it.

Important Pricing Information
Please note: the spinning service is not included in the price of the finished item.
If you would like us to spin your fibre into yarn first, this is charged separately.
Our prices for spinning can be found in the spinning services section on the website for both wool and pet fur.
Because every project is different, custom items are quoted individually based on:
• The type of yarn or fibre being used
• The amount of yarn needed
• The complexity of the item
• The time required to make it

How It Works

2. We will discuss whether it is suitable for the yarn available
3. We will advise on design, estimated yarn requirements, cost, and timescale
4. Once everything is agreed, we can create your handmade item
Whether you want a meaningful memorial keepsake made from pet fur yarn, or a beautiful handmade piece created from handspun wool, we will work with you to create something unique.
Information & FAQs
Will my item feel scratchy?
This depends on the fibre used.
• Pet fur yarn: If the fur contains a lot of guard hairs, it may feel scratchy. Single-coated fur is often less suitable for items worn directly against the skin.
• Sheep wool: Softness depends on the breed and fibre type. Some wools are soft and next-to-skin friendly, while coarser wools are better suited to outerwear or home items.
Will the fur fall out after washing?
You may notice a small amount of shedding during the first few washes, which can be normal depending on the fibre and yarn structure.
How long will it take?
Timescales vary depending on the item and our current workload. As a rough guide, a knitted scarf using around 300g of yarn may take approximately 2 to 4 weeks to make.
How much will it cost?
The cost depends on the item being made. Every piece is handmade from start to finish, so pricing reflects the time and skill involved.
Spinning is charged separately if required. If you email us with your ideas, we can provide a custom quote.
How much yarn will I need?
I've got to say it........ how long is a piece of string 🤣.
Seriously though this depends on the item, stitch pattern, knit or crochet, size, and yarn weight. The best way for us to estimate this is from a pattern or photo example.
Very rough estimates for Aran weight yarn (our most popular option) are:
• Plain scarf: 200 to 400g
• Adult beanie hat: 150 to 200g
• Shawl: Appoximatley 500g
• Small adult jumper (female): 650 to 850g
• Small crochet blanket (75 x 75cm): 600g
