Information and FAQ's
Will my item be scratchy ?- this depends on the yarn, if we are using fur yarn. If the fur had lot of gaurd hairs it maybe scratchy. Single-coated fur does tend to be scratchy and we recommend not using it directly on skin. Sheeps wool - it depends if the wool is coarse
Will the fur fall out after washing ? you may loose a little fur during the first few washes.
How long will it take to make ? this varies, but for example a 300g scarf can take around 3-6 weeks.
How much will it cost ? this depends on what item we are creating for you. All items are made by hand from start to finish and this takes a lot of time and skill. We try to keep our prices as low as possible. (We do have the prices for pet fur spinning and wool spinning on another listing, so it would be the amount of yarn. PLUS the making of an item. If you email us we can give you a qoute)
How much yarn do I need ? I'm going to say it ..... how long is a piece of string. 😆. The best way to know how much yarn you need is if we have a pattern for the item we are creating. Send us an email with photo examples and we can try to find a similar pattern and estimate it for you. But we do have some very rough examples for you based on Aran weight yarn (our most popular option)
