Chunky Hand-spun alpaca and merino wool yarn

Hand-spun by myself on our farm. Creamy coloured yarn. Alpaca with merino added into the wool to give it the stability and downy quality. White alpaca (about 80%) and undyed merino (20%) fleece blended together before spinning. Alpaca for softness and warmth with wool for elasticity and bounce.
This is a 2 ply yarn (for stability) and knits up as an Aran/chunky weight. It is in natural, undyed state - a soft off-white, lovely as it is or it could be dyed.

Hand spinning is not an exact science so the length of each skeins varies. Sold per 100g Skein.

This yarn has been spun on a traditional spinning wheel by me. It has been washed before and after spinning .
