Location - Our Farm, South Yorkshire
Fleece- Whole Lambswool 1st Shear. Super Soft, good staple length. Great for spinning beginners and Felting. Beautiful sun bleached tips. Will emphasise stitch and weave pattern and is a springy and durable wool great for hats, gloves, jumpers/cardigans and blankets.
General Breeds Fleece description -
Zwartble- locks moderately long, with well developed, slightly jumbled crimp in fibre . The open lock formation and medium fibre diameter means you can choose any preparation technique. There is a little extra bounce but the wool is easy to handle.
Usual staple 8-13cm
25-37 microns
Texel- The locks are springy and the locks have and organised crimp. Easy to spin and will have a lofty quality. Good choice for blankets and jumpers.
