The yarn is 4ply and has been made from a 80% wool and 20% bamboo mix . The added bamboo makes the yarn strong so it would make a great sock yarn, and with all the colour combinations which match each other the yarn would make some great mix and match socks.
The yarn is a between sizes. It's not quite a sport weight yarn but a little thinner at around 18-22 WPI (wraps per inch)
